A sea bath helps you get rid of cellulite

The next sea salt treatment that fights cellulite can be applied twice a week. All you have to do is prepare a detoxifying bath, which will help you open your pores, eliminate toxins and supply your skin with the necessary nutrients to maintain a healthy balance of tissues.

Remember the following instructions:

ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 g) sea salt
  • ½ cup (125 g) of baking soda
  • 1 cup (250 g) magnesium sulphate (also known as ‘bitter salt’)
  • 20 drops of cypress or grapefruit essential oil
  • 20 drops of pine essential oil
  • 15 drops of tangerine essential oil

Directions

  • It is recommended to take this bath at least once or twice a week. It is necessary to reserve between 35 and 40 minutes for treatment, so as to make the most of the natural elements used. Although any essential oil is useful, we advise you to buy cypress essential oil. Why? This product is very useful against inflammation and can reduce the size of fat nodules that produce cellulite. Cypress essential oil can be purchased from plafare and perfume shops and you can even use it to treat acne or any other skin inflammation.
  • First put all the above ingredients (sea salt, baking soda, magnesium sulfate and essential oils) in a bowl. Mix them well with a wooden spoon, but do not add water yet.
  • The second step is very simple: pour into a tub full of warm water.
  • Now, with the help of an exfoliating sponge, use it to massage your thighs or any other region affected by cellulite. The massage should be vigorous and circular to activate blood circulation and for all the ingredients to come into contact with your skin.
  • After you finish the massage, sit in the bathtub for 35-40 minutes. Then you can rinse and wipe with a towel as usual. If you apply this simple sea salt treatment every week, the cellulite that bothers you will gradually reduce. But don’t forget that it is essential to combine the treatment with the other tips I mentioned at the beginning of the article.
